Understanding Your Options for Counseling
We want getting started with counseling to feel as straightforward as possible. Peaceful Minds Counseling accepts insurance and offers self-pay options, giving you flexibility when choosing how to pay for services.
Because insurance coverage can vary by plan, we encourage you to contact your insurance provider to confirm your specific benefits and coverage before beginning services.
Insurance Accepted
Peaceful Minds Counseling currently accepts:
- Highmark
- Capital
- United/Optum
- Aetna
- Community Care (CCBH)
Insurance plans and coverage can change. Please contact your insurance provider to verify that Peaceful Minds Counseling and your specific plan are covered.
Insurance
What to Ask Your Insurance Company
When contacting your insurance provider, you may want to ask:
- Is outpatient mental health counseling covered under my plan?
- Is Peaceful Minds Counseling an in-network provider?
- What is my copay or coinsurance?
- Do I have a deductible that must be met?
- How many counseling sessions are covered?
- Do I need a referral or prior authorization?
Self Pay
Prefer to Pay Out of Pocket?
Self-pay is an option for clients who do not wish to use insurance or whose insurance is not accepted.
Individual Counseling: $130 per session
Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that schedules change. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide 24 hour notice.
Appointments cancelled with less than the required notice, or missed appointments, may be subject to a $90 cancellation/no-show fee.
Cancellation fees may not be covered by insurance.
